Dear Listener,

Thanks for exploring my music, here are a few words about the concept I’ve put into recording here.

After obtaining a field recorder I began listening to the sounds around me through a pair of stereo microphones. I realized that all the pitches and rhythms I observed bounced off each other in a musical way. This inspired me to play “duets” with these sounds, specifically the ones I found outside my window.

“Winduets” is what I decided to call this project: a series of what I hope to be honest and thoughtful meditations on the sounds we hear in our daily lives (if we listen close enough) People tend to think the role of a musician is to create art from sound, but creating goes hand in hand with listening in my opinion.
